AVON TIRES
Tire Rack offers several Avon tire lines that have been used as Original Equipment on European luxury passenger cars.
Avon tires were chosen as Original Equipment on Rolls-Royce cars beginning in 1933, and have also been fitted as Original Equipment to top vehicle brands such as Aston Martin, Bentley, Jaguar, Land Rover, and Morgan.
In order to continue to serve many of these vehicles, several lines of Avon Original Equipment tires are currently imported to the United States on a limited basis. They include Ultra High Performance Summer tires for performance sedans and Grand Touring Summer tires for prestigious luxury sedans.
Avon Tires was founded in 1885. In 1890, the company relocated to the banks of the River Avon in Melksham, England, where it remains to this day. Avon Tires is owned by the Cooper Tire & Rubber Company.
In addition to the Original Equipment tires available through Tire Rack, Avon Tires Motorsport also manufactures racing tires.
